Neymar has reportedly told his team-mates he won’t return to PSG after the World Cup.

The Brazilian sent shockwaves through the football world when he agreed to join PSG after the Ligue 1 giants activated his £200million release clause at Barcelona. Neymar bagged 28 goals in 30 games during his debut campaign in Paris but the club were knocked out at the last-16 stage of the Champions League which led to Unai Emery leaving the club.
The former Barcelona man has been consistently linked with a controversial move to Real Madrid since joining PSG and he’s angered the club’s heirachy by keeping a distance from the club since sustaining a metatarsal injury in February.

Manchester United are said to have informed Neymar’s representatives that they are willing to break the bank to take him to Old Trafford and AS claim he has told his team-mates that he will not return to France after the World Cup. Neymar faces a race against time to be fit for the tournament in Russia but his desire to leave PSG will alert both United and Real Madrid. The Brazilian is valued at around £250million and PSG insist they won’t allow the forward to leave.
PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaifi doesn’t believe it’s a formality that the club will lose Neymar and says the Spanish media are trying to unsettle the Brazilian.

‘Who says he cannot stay here? Did anyone say that? No one,’ said Al-Khelaifi. ‘He has a contract with us, and he will stay, 2000%. ‘Spanish media are still working for Spanish clubs and against the French clubs. And the French media I don’t know who they are working for.’
