Governor Ugwuanyi at it again! Rehabilitates Federal and State roads

Over the years, the deplorable condition of the Enugu-Onitsha Expressway has been a major course for concern. People has constantly trumpeted their grievances over the decrepit state of the road.

The Governor of Enugu state Rt. Hon Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi in his affectionate nature is currently rehabilitating the part of the old Enugu-Onitsha Express road leading to Trans-Ekulu.

Equally, he is reconstructing Osimiri road by Enugu Electrical Distribution Company, EEDC corporate office Trans-Ekulu Enugu. 

More also to his credit, Governor Ugwuanyi stirred with mass Urban and Rural road construction agenda. He transformed the historic and undulating Milken Hill road, Ngwo, which underwent reconstruction for the first time since its construction in 1909 during the colonial era. He had equally contracted the construction of six major roads across the state at the sum of N2.4 billion, covering the Eha-Amufu-Nkalagu federal road at Isi-Uzo Local Government Area, which has been in a deplorable condition.

Other roads include the extension of the Agbani-Afor Amurri road; the extension of Ituku road; the construction of Ogonogoeji Ndi Agu Akpugo road (Atavu Bailey Bridge –Afor Onovo); the construction of 42 meter span Bailey bridge and road works across river Nyama to Amechi-Linking Umuogo and Umuagba Amechi Uno/ Obinagu community, all in Nkanu West L.G.A.
All these are done at the bid of effecting good governance to the good people of the state as he had promised.
