Breaking: Fire Guts International Trade fair Complex in Enugu

There was a serious unrest at Golf estate on Thursday afternoon, as fire guts the Enugu international trade fair complex at about 2.45pm, following an outbreak on bushes around the trade fair complex.

The incident started when fire engulf some bushes surrounding the trade fair complex.  Initially, there was no cause for alarm, until it escalated and gutted on the complex through its fences. 

Fire Service

About four shops on the complex were partly affected by fire, which took a timely intervention of some shop owners together with men of the state fire service to prevent further damage and avoid what would have been a disaster.

Some of the few shops affected includes, shop 18, shop 24, occupied by the Redeemed Christian Church of God, shop 32, of Rehoboth Super Stores and shop 40, which is a furniture shop.

The cause of these outbreak is yet to be ascertain, as no one knows who actually set fire on the bushes, with some believing it must have been by those trying to dispose waste.
