Ethiopian Airline crash: What Pius Adesanmi will be remembered for in Nigeria – Atiku Abubakar

Former Vice President and Presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, has expressed sadness over the death of popular Nigerian professor, Pius Adesanmi who was involved in the plane crash involving the ill-fated Ethiopian Airliner, where 149 passengers and eight crew members lost their lives.

Former Vice President and Presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, has expressed sadness over the death of popular Nigerian professor, Pius Adesanmi who was involved in the plane crash involving the ill-fated Ethiopian Airliner, where 149 passengers and eight crew members lost their lives.
HRL NEWS had reported that the airline announced that there were no survivors on its flight ET302 which crashed on Sunday en route Nairobi from Addis Ababa. 

The airline said the 149 passengers and eight crew members on board the B-737-800MAX with registration number ET- AVJ, all died in the crash. 

“None of the people on board the Boeing 737 that crashed en route from Addis Ababa to Nairobi survived,” the airline said. 

The management of the Ethiopian airline also confirmed that Amb. Abiodun Bashua was one of the Nigerian passengers on board the plane. 

Reacting, Atiku on his Twitter page said Adesanmi will be remembered for bringing Scholarship to Progressive advocacy and contributing to a better Nigeria.
Atiku wrote: “Professor Pius Adesanmi will be remembered for how he brought scholarship to progressive advocacy. 

“His numerous followers on the social media will miss his insightful contribution towards a better Nigeria. I pray his soul will forever Rest In Peace.”
